Story
The Plot
Sarah Lucas, a YouTube personality known for her Villains Unmasked series, in which she dissects the real people and fears that inspired historical and literary villains, has always been a skeptic. To her, villains are never truly what they seem to be, and ghosts are about as real as a creepypasta from the 2000s.
After a video on the Phantom blows up, she's invited by Andrew Khan, the current manager of the Palais Garnier in Paris, to do a whole series on the elusive ghost and the history behind him.
Set to stay for eight weeks in an old dressing room, Sarah expects nothing to actually happen, but strange letters, sounds, and videos she couldn't possibly have taken with her camera make her question herself and her sanity.
Is there really a Phantom? Is someone trying to mess with her? And if there is a Phantom, what does that mean for the opera's history, the families of the original characters, and the story itself?
